Adventures In Cheedale

I’ve taken quite a few images over this weekend from Cheedale Cornice, so for ease of viewing have broken them up in the previous three posts.

  • Dan Walker doing Unleashing the Wild Physique 8a
  • Bob Hickish on R’n’P 8a+
  • Frenchie inspired arty stuff.

The walk in to Cheedale Cornice

Unleashing the Wild Physique

I took a couple of sequences of images of people on the this climb, first are a selection of Joe Cook working the route.

The second sequence is of Dan Walker going for a successful redpoint.

Post redpoint elation!

R’n’P

Below are a few photos of Bob Hickish on R’n’P 8a+.

Arty Stuff

I’ve been looking at lots of European climbing photography recently as a way of procrastinating and liked the look of many of their de-saturated/overexposed style images, I thought I’d try my hand at it with some of the Cheedale Shots, below are some examples.

Cheedale Cornice

After all the dry weather we’ve had recently the Cheedale Cornice has become climbable, In my opinion this is possibly the nicest crag I’ve climbed at in the peaks so far. Below are some photos to try and sum up my first trip there.

The left hand end of the cornice, unfortunately this is still a bit damp.

Limestone Action

Have been able to get out on the limestone recently, between climbing and uni work I've been a bit slack updating with photos. Here are a recent few.

I’ve also decided to upload these in a slightly larger format!
