Final Days Of The Good Weather Weekend…. Flappers and Sending

On the Saturday bad weather forced us from Sheffield to Craig y Longridge, I thought this was a pretty amazing crag its an overhanging grit stone face. Sadly I couldn’t do anything too hard as the crimps hurt my skinless tips. Below are some photos of some people that did manage to climb.

The Peaks had dried out on the Sunday which meant we could head out and I could attempt to clear some problems off my Grit List!

First stop was ‘7 Ball’ F6C in my opinion one of the best problems of the grade at Burbage South.

The Damage to my finger caused by ‘7 Ball’ I sent it in the end though!

Once ‘7 Ball’ had seen enough attention, we progressed to Attitude Inspector, another problem on my Grit List. Gav made a quick repeat send, this gave me the encouragement I needed to latch the hold.

Bouldering for the day was finished at ‘Crash & Gurn' which became personal for Gav after it claimed a massive chunk of his pinky, see below.

Day 1 of The Epic Peak Weekend

A good forecast means that there should be a lot of peak grit climbing happening this weekend. A few pictures below from this afternoons session.

Hopefully there’ll be more photos to come from the rest of the weekend if the good weather holds out!

Good Conditions and Yellow T-Shirts

On Wednesday me, Gav, Kieran and Jon. Headed out to Burbage North to take advantage of the good grit conditions and we all left with much less skin than when we went out. Some of the photos from the trip are below. I've converted these into JPEG as the last set of photos from Raven Tor seemed to look quite flat and de-saturated when put on the blog.
